The juxtaposition of crisp lines, bold forms and subtle arcs of the copper roof creates a harmonious composition.  This theme is carried out in many forms throughout the house and becomes a hallmark of the design. Gentle curves accentuate the custom fabricated entry and interior doors, glass guardrail, built-in cabinets, art display niches, and ceiling soffits. The architect team employed a complex process to achieve these details with precision and refined simplicity. The generously open plan, which includes the Kitchen, Living and Dining areas, can be further expanded to the outside through an array of sliding and folding glass panel doors.

The comprehensive design approach to this project included both front and rear yard landscape and hardscape plans. A mix of textured concrete and natural slate form circulation paths through planter pockets, a defined lawn, benches and pillars, and an herb garden. At the rear deck overlooking the Ventura Keys, a custom steel and glass guardrail frames an outdoor entertainment patio complete with outdoor kitchen, eating bar, dining table and fire pit.
